Town Meeting Test New Technologies
2008 Annual Town Meeting will see improvements to the existing Audio Visual Systems. The Introduction of ADA compliant Hearing Assistant Devices will be tested for the first time since the new Town Meeting technology enhancements were installed four years ago.
Our goal to provide all citizens with the assistance they need for a positive Town Meeting experience will be one step closer with the new Hearing Assisted Devices recently tested.
Marshfield will be asking for four individuals to provide important feedback after using the headsets during Town Meeting. With this information the Town will look at the needs of its constituents and will provide additional units in the future. Also being tested will be a Wireless Microphone which could assist those restricted to a wheel chair and unable to reach the existing microphone setup.
