Snow Removal Regulations
1. When snow warnings are issued, residents are requeste to keep their cars off all streets to avoid
damage to the vehicle and to expedite plowing and sanding. Vehicles obstructing plowing and sanding
operations will be towed - (Town Bylaw - Article 34).
2. The Town is NOT responsible for damaged lawns, fences, steps, shrubs, trees and ESPECIALLY
MAIL BOXES that are within the street layout. Residents are urged to drive stakes with reflectors
along the edge of their lawns.
3. To report unplowed streets during a snowstorm, call the Highway Division, DPW directly at 781-834-5596
or 781-834-5597 for more information.
4. Sand may be obtained at the Highway Garage for emergency use.
5. Plowers, while employed by the Town, cannot be hired or requested to clear driveways or walks.
6. The following common driveways and uncompleted subdivision developments will NOT be plowed by
the Town, but they will be sanded:
CANOE TREE WAY FLOWER HILL LANE
CARRIAGE HILL WAY HERITAGE HILL
CHURCHILL HEIGHTS KIMBERLY COURT
DAMONS POINT ROAD SHEPARD'S PATH
