My Boss is a Patriot Award

Master Gunnery Sergeant Kevin Feyler of the United States Marine Corp Reserves, Westover Air Force Base presented “My Boss is a Patriot Award” to;
Chief William Sullivan, Captain Al Knight, Lt. Michael McDonough, and Sgt. Paul Taber of the Marshfield Police Department .The awards were given for their support of three officers in the reserve and guard. Kevin Feyler of the marines, John Callahan of the Army, and Michael Dimeo of the Coast Guard. There has been a complete team effort at the police department and their co-workers are very understanding and supportive of the reserve members. They assume extra responsibilities and assignments when the reservists are at drill or away on annual training.
The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve is an agency within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs. It was established in 1972 to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve component members and their civilian employers and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee’s military commitment.
Reservists may recognize their employers with a “My Boss is a Patriot” award to show appreciation for support and cooperation with an employee’s reserve status.
